Description

Learn and perfect your mountain skiing skills in a comprehensive course that combines both theoretical and practical lessons. Throughout several sessions, you will explore key concepts of mountain skiing, such as proper equipment use, avalanche safety, and techniques for ascending and descending in varying conditions. Guided by certified instructors, you will enjoy personalized routes in the Cerdanya, Capcir, and Andorra areas, aiming to improve your technique, boost your confidence, and experience the mountain safely.

Mandatory Equipment

Personal Equipment:
- 3 layers for the upper body, outer waterproof layer.
- 2 layers for the lower body.
- Backpack (approx. 30L).
- Food and water for the outing.
- Sunglasses + fog mask (recommended).
- Lip balm + sunscreen.
- Whistle.
- Mobile phone with full battery charge.
- Neck scarf (e.g. "Buff").
- Thermal blanket.
- Federation card.
- Warm hat / sun cap.

Technical Equipment

- Mountain ski boots.
- Skis with mountain bindings.
- Climbing skins adapted to skis (ski waist size – approx. 2mm).
- Ski poles (telescopic or specific mountain ski poles).
- Helmet (bike-type helmets are acceptable).
- DVA (Avalanche Beacon), shovel, and probe (Rental available at the club – limited units).
- Crampons (Rental available at the club – limited units).
