Description

This is an activity with very limited spots, offering you the chance to immerse yourself in an ancient tradition, walking historic trails through the most authentic landscapes of La Cerdanya.
Do you know why this journey is still made on foot today? Discover the answer as you walk alongside the herd—an experience to reconnect with nature, the land, and a way of life that still quietly endures.

Schedule

7:30 AM – Meeting point at Basecamps
We’ll depart from Basecamps in the pick-up truck and, if needed, with an additional personal vehicle.

8:00 AM – Group assignment in Ger
We’ll introduce ourselves and assign participants to different streets in the village to help guide the cows along the planned route.

8:30 AM – Start of the route along the trail
You can choose to walk alongside the cows or ride in one of the vehicles.

Around 11:00 AM – Picnic break
We’ll stop in a beautiful meadow we come across along the way.

11:30 AM – Arrival at the grazing area
A fence will be opened and the cows will be released into the mountain pasture.

12:00 PM – Return to Basecamps.
