In this activity, children will discover the fascinating stories of the witches and trementinaires of the Pyrenees. We will travel back in time to learn about their customs, the medicinal plants they used, and the mysteries surrounding the nights of the akelarre. After dressing up, we will head outside to the fire to tell the legends and learn about the rituals that were held during the full moon nights in the Pyrenees.
PROGRAM:
17:00 – We will meet in the Kids area, where we will have a brief introduction to the activity and the characters. We will prepare the costumes and traditional dances.
17:30 – With the costumes ready, we will head outside to the fire. There, we will tell legends from the area and perform the rituals and ceremonies that witches and trementinaires used to do during the full moon nights.
18:45 – We will conclude the gathering by sharing our experiences and impressions while enjoying a magical atmosphere, transporting us to past times full of mystery and tradition.
